The movie opens with a long montage of people being shot, and then we cut to a scene of a woman standing in front of a building. Then we cut to another woman, both being shot. We cut back to the woman who was standing in front of the building and she starts screaming and crying. She doesn’t know who she is or what happened to her, but she realizes it’s been some sort of attack and she’s trying to get out.
I love that film. It’s so refreshing to see a film that doesn’t stick so closely to any one genre, and focuses more on the characters rather than just how scenes are shot. The movie was made in a way that its characters don’t feel like stereotypes because they don’t fit into any one genre.
