Weather can be fun too. On a hot summer day, especially if your home is in the shade, the best place for you to go is the beach (or pool, if you are a bit more adventurous). But you also need to take precautions. Make sure you wear sunscreen and bring a pair of flip-flops and swim suits that won’t fall apart.
Most people don’t realize that sun block and swimwear tend to dry out on your body, not your feet, and that can cause blisters. If your feet are blistering after a week of barefoot travel, you may be due for a little vacation.

I’ve said it elsewhere before, but I love San Mateo. It’s a beautiful place with a lot of hiking trails. I like the beach. I go there a lot when the weather is bad and my friends are out of town. I like the fact that it’s the best place for a lot of people to go if they want to be alone. I like it because it’s basically a beach town.
I think the San Mateo area is great but I agree with you that its not the best place to be unless you can be alone. In the summer, its almost worth it to go there, but in the winter, its not. That is why I say that San Mateo is just one of the best places in California.
I think I agree. I think the best place to go in the winter is to the beach and stay there. If you have friends who live in places like San Francisco or Santa Monica, they can drop you off and you can do the whole week in one day. But if you are going to be in the ocean, you need to be in a place that is a bit more remote.
I lived in San Mateo with a lot of other people and I know what you are talking about. It can be a miserable place to be. As I drove the five miles from my apartment to the beach, I felt like every single car that passed was going to stop and take a picture of me. I even thought I saw a woman who appeared to be having a panic attack. In fact, as I walked along the shoreline, I could see the entire beach littered with trash.
